The old Japanese saying "toy swords make toy swordsmen" does not apply to fighters that give training equipment the same respect as live steel. Until now, training was done with wood or rubber trainers to fimilarize one with proper technique and application, without jeopardizing the safety of both fighters. The Aluminum Trainers are designed to increase focus and self control, to give fighters a more facilitated transition from trainers to live edges.
